“Kanzen” or full, Hibiki is a harmonious blend of countless single malt and grain whiskies that are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavours and aromas. Seductive, blossoming and enigmatic, Hibiki celebrates an unparalleled art of blending, fine craftsmanship and a sense of luxury from the House of Suntory.
Hibiki was launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory’s 90th anniversary, and has since been accepted as the model of the art of Japanese whisky, the product of Japanese nature and its people. Hibiki Whisky is not only the most awarded blended whisky in Japanese history, but is among the most prestigious and honoured whiskies in the world.
Tasting notes: Amber in colour, with aromas of roses, peaches, melon and citrus. On the palate, notes of caramel, a touch of butter, Mizunara (Japanese oak) and vanilla. The finish is sweet, elegant and fruity.
Tasting: on the rocks with an iceball.
Pairing: Perfect with tuna, salmon, or sea bass sashimi, as well as julienned vegetables and desserts such as chocolate soufflé or dark chocolate.
